These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and you agree to be bound by them.
The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website (including, without limitation, photographs and graphical images) belong to Middleton Wood. Any use of extracts from this website other than for your own personal use is prohibited without our prior written permission.
Please note that the range of products and prices may be changed at any time without notice.
When ordering, please select colour, size, and quantity then “add to bag”. Sizing can vary. If you don’t know which size to order or need to know more about the products, please click on the "more info" link on each item or contact us directly (see below).
If the item is not in stock, or will take longer than normal to be delivered then you should be informed at this stage. If you are not informed at this stage, but it subsequently transpires that the item(s) are out of stock, you will be advised as soon as possible by email. In the unlikely event of you paying for the item when it is out of stock, you will be refunded.
When you have finished shopping with us go through to the checkout page where you will have the option to review your order and remove any item you no longer wish to keep or discard the whole order
At the checkout, select your delivery option from the list and your payment method and then confirm your order, you do this by clicking on the 'Submit Order' button at the bottom of the page. You should only press this button once even though it may take some time for the confirmation screen to appear.
You should receive an email confirming your order within 24 hours (although it may take longer than this if the email is delayed in some way by your email provider) please check that all details are correct. This e-mail does not constitute acceptance of the order by us. Acceptance of your order and the formation of the contract between you and us will take place when we despatch the goods to you. If you do not receive the email confirming your order within 48 hours, please contact us to check that the order has been placed.
Every item is described as accurately as possible but errors may occur. If we discover an error after the order has been submitted to us, then we will contact you prior to accepting the order with the corrected details. You then have the choice of either re-confirming or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you we may treat the order as cancelled.
The correct price will be shown of the subsequent invoice, enclosed with the goods on delivery. If the corrected price shown on your advice note is higher than the price displayed on the website when you placed your order, you have the option of cancelling the order and returning the goods. All orders are accepted on the condition that English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts applies.
If your payment is not authorised, or if there has been a clear pricing or product description error, or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions, then we reserve the right not to proceed with the order.
Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, the confirmation screen will not appear and instead you will see a 'timed out' message. It is still likely that your order has been successful and you should not place the order again.
Checkout & Payment Options
Payment with order is required in all cases. You can use your Visa, Maestro, Delta or Credit Card to pay for your order.
Credit card details are not entered or stored on our website, you are transferred using SSL-128 bit encryption technology and credit card details are entered on a secured payment gateway page via www.securetrading.com.
We can deliver to any address in the UK or Channel Islands, and aim to deliver to you directly within 5 days for all items in stock. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee this or accept any liability for any expenses, costs, or other losses incurred due to failed or late delivery
The standard delivery charge for these areas is £4.99 regardless of how many items are in your order. When your parcel arrives, please check your items carefully against your invoice and if there is any discrepancy please email us via the Contact Us page, to inform us of the problem.
We do everything we can to ensure the product is described correctly however we cannot guarantee total accuracy. Please also note that perception of colours can vary from monitor to monitor.
Returns & Cancellations
All items are inspected prior to packaging and delivery, but if for any reason you would like to return goods you may do so within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
At Middleton Wood we value our customers, so your satisfaction is our priority and our aim is for you to be totally satisfied with your purchase
Any item returned to us must not show any signs of being worn or damaged and must not be contaminated by odours (e.g. perfume) or staining (e.g. deodorant, or make-up), be in the original condition with security tags, etc intact and attached.
Goods must be returned at your own cost and you are responsible for ensuring that the goods are received by Middleton Wood and being able to demonstrate this.
Your purchase will contain a copy invoice. Please return this invoice annotated with the following information:-
- The reason for returning the goods
- Your name, address, telephone contact number and e-mail address
- Your account details
If you don't have your copy invoice, list the item number(s) on a piece of paper with your reason for returning, together with your name, address, telephone contact number, e-mail address and personal account number and enclose it with the goods.
Please allow up to 14 days for the credited refund.
If the goods are returned outside the 14 day period or without the requested information, then, at our sole discretion, we may decide to accept this return, but we then reserve the
We right to make a charge to cover our costs in processing the late return.
Orders for the following items cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty;-
- Bespoke and customised or personalised items
- Items which have been sealed for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed..
If the reason for the return is a defective product then we will aim to resolve the problem by repairing the item, providing a suitable replacement, or a part / full refund of the original purchase price including postage and packaging (return fee). Please contact us to arrange for the return of defective items.
This return fee will not exceed the original delivery charge.
We will commit to amicably resolving any matters concerning returned goods to the satisfaction of both parties.
Post / Courier
We are not liable for loss of goods which you have sent in the post or by courier, but not received by Middleton Wood. You will only be able to claim against the delivery provider in the event you can produce a certificate of posting, with a unique reference number, which should be quoted in the event of a query.
It is a condition precedent of any refund from us that it can be shown that the goods were signed for by Middleton Wood. We also strongly recommend that you take up postal insurance, covering the total value of the goods. If you are returning goods that have been paid for by credit or debit card, the refund will be made directly to your card. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by this policy.
Returns on Product Promotions
Return of items bought through a special promotional offer, has to include all items bought within that offer. If not, we reserve the right not to issue a full refund and charge the full price for any item that you retain.

When you visit, register with us or order products on this website you will be asked to provide information about yourself. We may also retain information about the way you use our website as well as information from messages you post to the website and correspondence with us.
Use of your information
The information that we retain will enable us to provide customers with access to all parts of our website and to supply the goods to them. It will also enable us to invoice them and to contact them where necessary concerning their orders.
Where we have customers consent, we may also use their information to let them know about other products which we offer which may be of interest. If customers change their mind about being contacted in the future, they should contact Middleton Wood.
Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.
Security & Data Retention
We employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
You are entitled to see the information held about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If you wish to do this, please contact us. We are entitled by law to charge a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
Distance Selling Regulations 2013
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2013 you have a right to cancel your order for any product that you may buy from us except items made to your personal specifications. Your statutory right to return goods under the regulations may be exercised up to and including the seventh day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the day of delivery. If you wish to exercise your statutory right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within the statutory period and immediately return the products to us at your own cost. You must take reasonable care of the goods. If you cancel within the statutory period you may claim a refund of any sum you have paid concerning the goods, less any charges we make for collecting the goods (including courier fees) if you do not return them at your own cost.
